Dr. Chang- Hyun Yu, the lead Archictect at R&H.Ltd., holds a Ph.D. in Golf Course Architecture and pursued his major in landscape architecture at university. His journey began at Samsung Everland Anyang Country Club in 1995, where he spent eight years working in golf course development and management. Discovering golf upon joining the Samsung Group, he eventually founded his golf course design firm in October 2002. Over the past 21 years, his team has successfully designed and developed 32 golf courses. Dr. Yu is deeply committed to a design philosophy that values a harmonious relationship with nature and aims to create an enjoyable golfing experience. He finds immense joy in envisioning golf strategies within the natural canvas. Currently, he's actively involved in various international projects across Russia, Laos, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, and Vietnam, aiming to expand their expertise beyond domestic boundaries. His roles include being a part of the "Top 10 Korean Golf Course Selection Committee," chairing the "Korean Eco-friendly Golf Course Selection Committee," and serving as Vice President of the Korean Society of Golf Course Architects. Among his publications are "Understanding Golf Course Renovation," translation books like “The anatomy of a Golf Course" and "Golf Course Architecture. " Furthermore, he shared his insights in a 30-part series called "Dr. Chang Hyun Yu's Global Golf Course Stories: Golf Secret Field" in the specialized golf newspaper, Leisure News.
